BTM Software Solutions is in the process of evaluating Intalio Software as a Service (SaaS) which provides an extensive suite of business applications that can be deployed out of the box, or used as templates for supporting the development of custom ones. • Document Management System (DMS): DMS is a next-generation Document Management System supporting the management of digital assets throughout their entire life cycle, within the context of any business objects or business processes managed by Cloud.
• Social Portal: Social Portal lets anyone create ad-hoc collaboration spaces in just one click of the mouse. These social portals come pre-loaded with team calendars, shared document folders, blogs, forums, wikis, and real-time chat, enabling the development of contextual applications on the fly.
• Web Office: Web Office lets users create rich documents, presentations, and spreadsheets using any Web browser, while preserving full compatibility with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Documents can also embed live data served by other Intalio applications or any Web services.

The Intalio SaaS for small business is set to be free for the first 5 users.  The cost per user after for the first is set to be $40 up to 250 users.

BTM Software Solutuons also designs Orbeon web forms that can be used by both customers and employees.  So if you are currently collecting data on paper, consider the potential benefits of collecting this information electronically which can be used to run reports, build dashbaords and more easily retrieve documents.
