BTM Software Solutions offers open source product software to the criminal justice community to meet a variety of business needs.  One of those business needs is to share information between criminal justice and non-criminal justice agencies more efficiently.  Using business process modeling software, our goal is to take one of your business processes and more efficiently collect and share that information.  We can easily develop and integratge web services within the process to send information between systems to reduce time, redundant data entry and costs attributed to paper delivery.

BTM Software Solutions has worked on the following criminal justice projects:

• Electronically filing criminal complaints from police agenices to District Courts allowing for the approval, rejection or revision requests by the District Attorney's Office prior to filing if one of the charges require District Attorney approval pursuant to local rules of criminal procedure.  Sending this information to Photograph Imaging Networks to reduce the data entry for Booking Centers.  And collecting information from the business process to display in a dashboard format for such things as the number and types of criminal complaints filed and who and who has not been fingerprinted.
• Intermediate Punishment Process for Adult Probation which tracks offenders from start of supervision to discharge.  This program allows probation officers to complete their Pre-sentence Investigation, warrants, detainers, reviews, violation of probation and failure to appear documents online integrated with their current record management system to reduce redundant data entry on these forms.  The forms are printed in PDF format which removes different versions and formats when staff use text editor tools.  These forms are submitted electronically for supervisor review and stored in an XML database for easy retrieval and information sharing opportunities with other agencies, i.e. the Court, Corrections.
